  • KDA_Defacto - --There was a building fire on 01/21/16 at approximately 1:30 PM at the Village Plaza, near the intersection of 15th Street and North Kansas Avenue in Liberal, KS This establishment (40 Village Plaza) was open and operating during the time of the fire. The fire was contained to the HVAC unit located on the roof near the north east corner of the establishment. There was no loss of power during the fire. The establishment had extensive smoke and water damage. The damage included insulation and ceiling tiles throughout building, dry powdered Boba mixes opened from the original packages, dry pastas stored in unsealed containers, raw chicken, pork and beef products stored in make tables, fresh produce stored in make tables, ready to eat meats and shrimp stored in make tables, ready to eat foods in wok and fryer baskets, fryer oil, 75 single use plastic containers w/lids of sauces, unsealed packages of dried seasonings, single use items, including 5 opened boxes of gloves, 1 sleeve of 2 lb. boats, 100 deli tissues, 30 foil wraps, 30 styrofoam trays, 1 sleeve of boxes, 1 container of napkins, 4 sleeves of lids, 3 sleeves of bowls, 2 sleeves of cups, 1 box of plastic bags, and 1 container of paper bags.
