There were QT test strips expiring 2/15/15 at the 3 vat sink at the front counter. 4-102.11(B)(1) - --There were plastic non food grade thank you bags used for the direct storage of cucumbers and green peppers in the walk in cooler. COS- PIC moved the produce into food grade bags. KDA_2_30115 - --An employee used 3 vat sink for handwashing. COS- educated employee on correct hand washing locations and employee rewashed hands. KDA_2_40111 - --There was an employee drink sitting on a food storage shelf directly above a prep counter holding single service bowls. KDA_3_30412C - --There were dispensing utensils stored in a container holding water measuring 83F. Discussed proper in use utensil storage with PIC. KDA_3_50118A1 - --There was a container of tuna salad and a container of chicken salad in the make table reach in cooler that was dated 9/10. PIC stated 9/10 was the prep date. COS- PIC voluntarily discarded both items. KDA_3_50118A2 - --There was a container of peeled boiled eggs in the make table reach in cooler and in the walk in cooler without any date marking. PIC stated the eggs were prepared Monday 9/14. COS- PIC correctly date marked. KDA_3_60211B1 - --There were brownies on the front counter for self service retail sale without any common name listed on the label. KDA_3_60211B2 - --There were brownies on the front counter for self service retail sale without any ingredients listed on the label. KDA_3_60211B5 - --There were brownies on the front counter for self service retail sale without any food allergens listed on the label. Discussed making a sign for nutritional information available upon request and keeping ingredients listed in the back. KDA_4_10111A - --There was a Sterilite non food grade container used for the direct storage of popcorn chicken in the reach in freezer. COS- PIC placed chicken in a food grade container. KDA_4_20211A2 - --There were 3 broken/cracked food storage containers and 1 broken/cracked food storage lid on the clean utensil shelf. COS- PIC voluntarily discarded. KDA_4_60211E4 - --There was old food build up in the internal dispensing nozzles of the cappuccino units at the front counter. KDA_6_30112 - --There were no disposable towels available at the hand sink in the back prep area. PIC stated another staff member was replacing. COS- PIC restocked. KDA_6_50116 - --There was a wet mop with a handle stored in the basin of the mop bucket not allowed to properly air dry. KDA_7_20111A - --There was a working spray bottle of Grill time cleaner stored on a rack with the nozzle next to/facing and directly over RTE syrup bags for the soda unit. COS- PIC moved the container to a different area. KDA_7_20111B - --There was a working spray bottle of Grill time cleaner stored on a rack with the nozzle next to/facing and directly over RTE syrup bags for the soda unit. COS- PIC moved the container to a different area. There was a soap dispenser on the wall directly above a clean bowl in the prep area.
