Barona Casino

The Barona Casino is an Indian Casino located on the Barona Indian Reservation in California. The casino is owned and operated by the Barona Group of Capitan Grande Band of Mission Indians. Unlike other casinos in the country, patrons only have to be 18 years of age to gamble, not 21.

There are 75 table games available at the casino including blackjack, poker and California craps which is played with cards not dice. There are 2,000 slot and video poker machines in the casino including new games and the first Magic Touch slot machine.

Due to the winding and hilly road that leads into the reservation the leaders of the casino decided to not allow alcoholic beverages on the casino floor. There are nine different restaurants located in the casino and hotel which is one of the largest hotels among Californian Indian Casinos. Alcohol is served at the Steakhouse, Italian Cucina & Seafood Plaza during normal operating hours. Visitors can also play a round of golf at the Gary Roger Baird designed, par 72 19-hole golf course.

The resort provides rejuvenation and exhilaration for guests in the Barona Valley. The rooms are spacious and luxurious and pampering is available at the Ambience Day Spa. Services available at the spa include facials, massages, manicures and pedicures.

At Barona Casino is the only Blackjack Hall of Fame, which features some of the world's leading blackjack players along with the largest display in the world of devices that have been used to cheat from ancient times to modern day devices.
