Big Wheel Bike Tours

Big Wheel Bike Tours are located in Palm Springs, California. The company has been providing first class bike tours around the greater Palm Springs area since 1998. Touring the city on a bike provides a better way to see and experience the city rather then from inside a car or tour bus.

Everything is provided for groups participating in a tour, which are held in a morning tour or afternoon tour. The company will provide a custom fit bike, snacks and refreshments which include homemade cookies and a water bottle on each bike. Helmets are also custom fit and on each tour a support vehicle will follow that is equipped with first-aid supplies, walkie talkies and cell phones.

On each tour there will be one experienced, knowledgeable tour guide for each ten riders. Tours include The Earthquake Canyon Express which is a 20 mile tour through the San Andreas Fault zone and into the grape country near Mecca. This tour finished at the Oasis Date Gardens where riders will receive a date shake and restroom break. This tour will suit riders from Beginner to Intermediate. Other tours include Palm Springs Mountain Bike Tours and Custom Tours.

Bikes are also available for rent for visitors to ride at their own availability. Bikes include mountain, high performance mountain and road bikes. Reservations are required for all tours and 24 hours is required for tour cancellation.
