La Quinta Resort & Club

Established in 1926, La Quinta Resort & Club has been a getaway for Hollywood stars and a fixture in the Palm Springs scene for most of the area's history. It covers 45 acres of landscaped grounds, including groves of citrus trees and lush oasis-like gardens dotted with 41 pools and 53 hot spas. Guest accommodations include 796 residence-like casitas, suites and villas, with Spanish mission-style design, individual fireplaces, and their own private pools and hot tubs.

Surrounded by flowers and shrubbery, the Spa La Quinta occupies 23,000 square feet and features private open-air shower treatments, garden baths, and alfresco massages within view of the Santa Rosa Mountains. Four different fine dining establishments are located on the premises, too Morgan's in the Desert, Twenty 6, Adobe Grill, and Ernie's.

For recreation, golf is the top attraction. Arrangements can be made by the resort concierge at any of five championship courses designed by Nicklaus, Norman, and Dye. For those who prefer tennis, there are 18 hard courts and five Har-Tru clay courts, ten of which are lit for night play.

For meetings and celebrations, the La Quinta Resort & Club offers 66,000 square feet of elegant and versatile function space. Other on-site facilities include The Plaza shopping arcade with its designer boutiques and the Main Pool with its shady cabanas, poolside food and beverage service, and adjacent playground for children. The address is 49-499 Eisenhower Drive, La Quinta, California 92253.
