Monterey County Youth Museum is located at 425 Washington Street in Monterey, California. The youth museum is dedicated to providing education to students of all ages. The museum is 8,500 square feet with a number of hands on exhibits. Many of the exhibits deal with environmental, cultural, and day to day life. They are open 10am to 5pm Monday through Saturdays, except Wednesdays when they are closed. Hours on Sunday are 12 to 5pm. The museum is open for some holidays such as Christmas Eve.

Admission is $7 for adults and children. It is free for any child under 2. Some of the exhibits are My Day At the Beach, where visitors 3 and under can hang out to learn language skills, motor functions, and interact with kids the same age. It is also a great place to take a nap for the younger children. My Go Fore Golf is all about golfing. Children can learn about hand eye coordination, as well as practice their swing. There are even some obstacles like a gopher to attach golf balls. My Healthy Farm has information on picking crops as well as a giant maze. My Imagi Tree is a place for children to crawl and climb, especially for birthday parties at the museum.
