Orange County Natural History Museum

The Orange County Natural History Association is a venue committed to the preservation, exhibition, and interpretation of Orange County's natural history as specified by their Association. The museum's goal is to make the public more aware of the environment in which they live. Visitors can learn about the habitat of Orange County, its climate and weather patterns, and the animals that have lived there both in the past and present. The museum offers a monthly lecture series on topics related to natural history and the admission is kept relatively low. Admission is $2 for adults, $1 for seniors and children under 12. Admission prices are low for a reason. The Orange County Natural History Museum wants to draw the community into its facilities to teach them how to better co-exist with their environment without damaging it. The belief system of the museum is that people can work together with their environment to keep it clean and safe. People from all over OC travel to this museum to study its natural history. Group tours are available with special rates given to larger crowds traveling together. School children and teachers are often seen at the museum taking classes and going on tours.
