Pacific Grove Ocean View Boulevard

The Pacific Grove Ocean View Boulevard is a scenic and historic walking area that runs through the Pacific Grove or Monterey Peninsula. The area is adjacent to Monterey and can be accessed by walking along the coastal road from Cannery Row to Lovers Point and then a little further to Pebble Beach. The walk is scenic and pleasant with the ocean on one side and some interesting looking homes on the other. The stroll is pleasant and peaceful. Walking inland from the coastal road the center of Pacific Grove Township is just a few blocks away. This provides for a pleasant stroll as it passes by a Farmer's Market that is open between 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Mondays.

The Ocean View Blvd is an extension of Cannery Row with many of Cannery Row's attractions and things to do. There are no buildings on the ocean side to block the view of the ocean. The road actually begins at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and continues about two to three miles curving around the rocky coastline until Pebble Beach is reached. The travel time takes awhile if driving because the maximum speed is 15 MPH and there is a single lane each way.
