Skydive Sacramento

Family owned and operated, Skydive Sacramento offers a wide variety of service and jump options, from tandem and group jumps to rigging services and training. Packing classes, freefly coaching, belly coaching, and canopy skills instruction are all available from instructors who average over 20 years experience and thousands of skydives.

Tandem dives are recommended for newcomers to the sport. Customers are fitted with a jumpsuit and harness adjusted by an instructor. Ground instructions are given regarding the basics of freefall body position, and then a waiting aircraft is boarded, which flies to an altitude between 9,000 and 12,000 feet. Any questions can be answered as the plane climbs to jump height.

The jump itself includes freefalling at speeds of up to 120 miles an hour. After the parachute opens, the instructor assists the customer in controlling the canopy and guiding it safely to the drop zone. Approximately, four hours should be allowed for the adventure from start to finish.

Skydive Sacramento is located at the Lincoln Regional Airport, 20 miles Northeast of Sacramento, at 1020 Airport Road, Lincoln, CA 95648. The pricing for tandem skydives is $159 on weekdays and $199 on weekends; closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Group discounts are available, as are video and still photo services. Participants must be age 18 or older and weigh less than 225 pounds.
