Storyville

Storyville is located at the Poleng Lounge at 1751 Fulton Street, San Francisco, California. Every Wednesday Storyville is held at this lounge where visitors can enjoy music and gourmet meals. The cuisine is based on Pan- Asian delights. On stage visitors will discover emerging talents that live in the Bay Area and around California. Performances are held at 9:30pm, though seating begins at 8:30pm for dinner. A variety of shows are provided including Audiobraille with electro, funk, and jazz music. Aeble Dee has been on stage as have Joyo Verlarde. Joyo Velarde provides Sonny and Cher music.

Each Wednesday there is a different performance in order to keep the residents coming back. They have 65 seats in the lounge for Storyville. The idea behind Storyville is to tell a tale using music. The story does not have to be something one recognizes from the stage or books. Instead, the stories are often what the artist extrapolates from the music. On other days, the lounge is a Jazz Nightclub with varying artists. Throughout Storyville nights it is possible to get anything from the bar as they carry premium liquors to help add to the performance and dinner.
