When to wash Food handler did not wash hands after working on the computer and before touching the rim of a cup that she filled with Lactaid milk and served to the customer. Addressed at time of inspection.
Handwashing sink equipped to provide water at a temperature of at least 100° F through a mixing valve or combination faucet. A temporary handwashing station is set up in the food service area for the food handlers to use. This temporary handwashing station has a spigot that must be continually depressed for the flow of water, making it impossible for employees to wash their hands properly and prevent recontamination of their hands from touching the spigot to dispense water. The valve on the handwashing station shall enable a constant flow of water when opened. Handout provided.
