Arco Olympic Training Center


Arco Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California is a US training facility designed to help America's athletes reach their goals in training and sports. They allow nine sports for training at the facility including soccer, archery, rowing, softball, field hockey, canoe/ kayak, tennis, cycling, and track and field. Athletes can get a guided tour, as well as visitors who are interested in learning about the facility. There is the Olympic Spirit Store for souvenirs.

The exact location of the facility is 2800 Olympic Parkway. It took $65 million to build the center. Visitors will get to see the 150 acre campus including the training fields, dorms, and Otay Lake Reservoir. The tours are free for anyone who wishes to stop by. Chula Vista is one of the only training centers in the US. There are also places in Colorado Springs, CO and Lake Placid, NY. The Chula Vista center is known for its archery and field hockey surface, as well as its 15,000 square foot house for water sports. It is different than Colorado Springs, which is known for its winter sports, particularly skating facilities. In the future Chula Vista may have more features.
