JUSTIN Vineyards and Winery


With a focus on developing Bordeaux-style wines, the JUSTIN Vineyards and Winery was the first to produce their style of wine and today have a label that is world renowned. The winery is located in Paso Robles in a region that is dotted with wineries because of the excellent climate for vineyards.

Justin and Deborah Baldwin first planted their 160 acres of vineyards in 1981. Since then many of the vineyard's vintages have received accolades from critics and have garnered many awards. Proprietor, Justin Baldwin, has also won the title of "Wine Heroes of the Year" and "Great American Winemaker."

The JUSTIN Tasting Room opens daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The latest wine releases are served along with food pairings while the staff presents the history of the winemaking, production practices, and food pairings. Tours run daily (with appointments) at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and take guests throughout the vineyard to demonstrate the wine-production process.

The JUSTIN Vineyards and Winery reside along the California coast, midway between San Francisco and Los Angeles. It is close to other tourist sites, including Villa Creek Café, San Miguel Mission Parish, Hearst Castle, California Mid-State Fair, Old Mission San Luis Obispo, Museum of Natural History, and Charles Paddock Zoo.
