Kamikaze

The Kamikaze trail has offered an exhilarating descent for mountain biking racers since the early 1980's. At Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort, near Mammoth Lakes, CA, the bike trail has been developed by the ski resort for summer adventures.

The Kamikaze run boasts being the trail that got it all started. It is world famous for being the oldest and fastest official run in mountain biking racetracks. The excitement over mountain biking started here at Mammoth Mountain in the 1980's and continues today with regular races and busy crowds during the summer.

The terrain of the 3.2-mile trail includes loose earth with some sandy area on ski service roads and single tracks.
