Novato Farmer's Market


Located on Grant Avenue between Machin and Reichert Avenues in Novato, CA, the Novato Farmer's Market is a historic local hot spot that offers an array of locally grown foods, arts and crafts, and community events.

In the recently renovated downtown area of Novato, the Farmer's Market opens seasonally from May through September on Tuesday evenings from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Generally, the produce is pesticide free and harvested the morning of the market. Besides produce, patrons can take home locally baked cakes and other pastries, ethnic cuisine, and fish. Visitors can also enjoy pony rides as well as local musicians that play at the Novato Farmer's Market. In addition, Master Gardeners come to the market to answer any gardening questions. Parking is available in the adjacent neighborhood. Some of the merchants include Flourchylde Bakery, Mediterranean Delight, J & T Jams, Kettle Thai, and Ultimate Souvlaki.

The farmer's market is located just off Highway 101 about 30 miles north of San Francisco. Located within walking distance visitors to the Novato Farmer's Market can find various playgrounds and parks. The surrounding area also offers several tourist sites, including the Marin American Indian Museum, Olompali State Historic Park, Novato History Museum, and Infineon Raceway.
