Ruth Hardy Park

Ruth Hardy Park is located off Tamarisk Street at Avenue of Caballeros in Palm Springs, California and is approximately 10 minutes drive from Palm Springs International Airport. The park is a popular recreational area with mature tree shade providing relief for visitors from the heat of summer. It can be found just a few blocks off downtown Palm Springs near Desert Regional Hospital and the Wellness Garden.

There are eight tennis courts at the park open to the public that are free to use on a first come first served basis. Visitors can sit in the park on shaded benches and watch others playing tennis or enjoy a picnic lunch. The park also features basketball courts, a large playground and a great expanse of grass for playing or sitting on.

Visitors to the park will find other interesting things to do nearby, which can be explored by renting a bike from BIKE Palm Springs in North Palm Canyon Drive. Palm Springs Art Museum and The Fabulous Palm Spring Follies are within a short walking distance of the park. There are also plenty of places to eat nearby such as Trio and Peppers Thai Cuisine on North Palm Canyon Drive.
