Address: 13710 Central Avenue

Description: This massive amusement park is jam-packed with rides, shows, and attractions suitable for the entire family. Kids needn’t fret over being too little for this theme/water park’s thrill rides: Looney Tunes Movie Town features rides and a live show especially for children. Crocodile Cal’s Outback Beach House, a five-story interactive play area, offers more than 100 water-powered attractions, including a barrel that dumps 1,000 gallons of water on unsuspecting passersby every few minutes. Still not wet enough? Play on the slides and submarine in the 10,000-square-foot Kids’ Cove pool. You’d be wise to avoid Six Flags on summer weekends, when lines frequently require waits of 45 minutes or longer. Adjacent to Six Flags America is the massive and wildly wet Hurricane Harbor water park. A separate admission fee applies, although a discounted combo ticket is available. Six Flags often runs money-saving promotions, with Coca-Cola, for example, that’ll save you money on admission tickets.
