    Observation: Milk holding at improper temperatures in the Frigidaire refrigerator on left
    Correction: Unit turned down during inspection. Temperature dropped from 45 to 40 to 41 within the hour I was there.

Good handwashing and prevention of barehand contact observed.
  • Food Contact Surfaces - Cleanability*
    Observation: The food contact surface of the metal banded brush for butter is not accessible for cleaning and inspection.
    Correction: Multiuse food contact surfaces shall be accessible for cleaning and inspection: 1. without being dissambled. 2. by disassembling without the use of tools. or 3. by easy disassembling with use of handheld tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, open-end wrenches and Allen wrenches.
  • Lighting, Intensity
    Observation: Less than 50 foot candles of light was noted in the kitchen. It was between 35-45 in various locations in the kitchen.
    Correction: Provide at least 50 foot candles at a surface where a food employee is working with food or working with utensils or equipment such as knives, slicers, grinders, or saws where employee safety is a factor. Appears that some bulbs are not working and some are just not bright enough.

  • Plumbing System Maintained in Good Repair
    Observation: The cold water is not working at the hand sink in the kitchen. Only hot water available for the hand sink.
    Correction: Fix the faucet so both cold and hot water are working.
  • Lighting, Intensity
    Observation: The light is not working in the chemical supply room.
    Correction: Replace the light bulbs to provide adequate lighting.
  • Physical Facilities in Good Repair
    Observation: Several water damaged ceiling tiles in the kitchen.
    Correction: Replace the damaged ceiling tiles. Once these are replaced it will be easy to see if there are any current leaks.
