Remarks: SHELL OF A/C CRUMPLED AROUND WINDSHIELD, PILOT DID NOT ACTUALLY SEE BIRDS. THE DOWN LEFT ON THE AIRCRAFT APPEARD TO BE THAT OF DUCKS OR GEESE. PILOT HAD REPLACED WINDSHELD WITH x/x INCH GLASS. HE BELIEVES THIS MAY HAVE PREVENTED DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY.
