FELT SHARP STINGS ON FACE, NECK, CHEST, RT ARM & SHOULDER. INSTANTLY MY RT CLOTHES HAD BLOOD ALL OVER THEM. HOLE IN RT WINDSHLD. NOISE WAS DEAFENING. EVERYTHING LOOSE IN COCKPIT WAS FLYING AROUND. PULLED BIRD OUT OF WINDSHLD. LOOKED UP TO SEE PLANE IN SHARP NOSE-DOWN RT TURN. EMERG DELCARED. COULD NOT HEAR TWR DUE TO NOSIE IN COCKPIT. YAW TO STARBRD BUT RUDDER TRIM MADE IT MANAGEABLE. DAMAGED WING ROOT FAIRING ON LE OF RT WING. FUEL LINE WAS JAMMED AND CRIMPED SHUT. IF I HAD BEEN USING THIS TANK, I WOULD HAVE LOST THE ENG.
