Remarks: PILOT STATED THAT DURING A NIGHT LANDING, HE HAD A SMOOTH TOUCHDOWN AND DURING ROLLOUT, MOVING ABOUT 25-30 KNOTS HE HEARD A LOUD THUMP. THE PAX SAW THE IMPACTED DEER. PILOT REPTD THIS WAS THE SEOCND DEER STRIKE WITHIN THE LAST 12 MONTHS AT THE ARPT. NTSB INVESTIGATED. DAILY INCIDENTS REPORTS DMG AS MINOR. FSDO OFFICE SAID IT WAS CLASSIFIED AS AN ACCIDENT, SO DMG WOULD BE SUBSTANTIAL. DENTS TO FUSELAGE AND HORIZONTAL STABILIZER.

Remarks: DEER RAN ACROSS RWY INTO NOSE AND PROP AS A/C STARTED LANDING ROLL. A/C CONTD STRAIGHT AND CAME TO A STOP. IT WAS MOVED TO AN OPEN HANGAR. DMG WAS FIRST REPTD AS SUBSTANTIAL THEN DOWNGRADED TO MINOR. NO INJURIES TO 2 PEOPLE ON BOARD. MOTOR SHOOK VIOLENTLY WHEN PROP RENDERED OUT OF BALANCE. THE CRANK WAS BENT. PROP, NOSE BOWL AND LWR GEAR DOOR WERE DAMAGED.
