Remarks: IMMEDIATELY AFTER T/D AND AFTER AIRBRAKES WERE DEPLOYED 3 DEER WERE SEEN ON RWY. 1 HIT OUR L MAIN LDG GEAR AND L INBD FLAP. CONTD LDG ROLL & STOPPED NORMALLY. ALL FLT CONTROLS WERE LEFT N THE LDG CONFIGURATION AND TAXIED TO THE RAMP. NO INJURIES. REMOVED DEER FROM RWY AND MADE PLANS TO GET L INBD FLAP REPAIRED AND HAVE EVERYTHING INSPCTD.

Remarks: AS WE SLOWED THRU 100 KTS A LARGE DEER RAN IN FRONT OF US. I HELD THE NOSE OF THE PLANE IN THE AIR, DEER PASSED UNDER COCKPIT AND HIT THE L MAIN GEAR. WE REMOVED DEER FROM RWY. THIS SEEMS TO BE A REAL HAZARD AT THIS ARPT. THERE ARE ALWAY LRG #S OF DEER AROUND RWY AT NIGHT.

there is a group at the airport that sponsors veteran pilots. i saw them in griffin at the vietnam memorial with a huey helicopter. they said that they are going to do a fund raiser on the 18th selling rides. can you give me the name or web-site of the group so that i can make arraingments to attend? thank you.
