Remarks: RT WING TIP HIT EAGLE. A/C SUDDENLY YAWED RIGHT. PILOT DETERMINED HE HAD EXPERIENCED A STRIKE. HE GAINED ALTITUDE BEFORE CIRCLING AND LANDING UNEVENTFULLY. PILOT SEEMED TO THINK THE BIRD WAS FLYING IN A DOWNWARD DIRECTION WHEN IT HIT HIS RT WING TIP. SERIOUS DMG DONE TO RT WINGTIP. A/C IS NOT FLYABLE. PHOTOS. THIS STRIKE IS ALSO REPTD AS OCCURRING 11-4-06 IN AN AAIPN REPT. |
