PILOT ADDED POWER TO CUSHION HIS DESCENT DURING xND T/D ATTEMPT, BUT A/C ASCENDED. THIS CONTD ABOUT x TIMES UNTIL L MAIN GEAR BROKE OFF & A/C SLID TO A STOP OFF RT SIDE OF RWY.
