HE MAINTAINED AN EXTRA xx KNOTS OF AIRSPEED AND RETD TO LAND. PILOT SAID PLANE HANDLED VERY WELL UNTIL SHORT FINAL WHEN LEFT WING DROPPED AND L MAIN HIT THE RWY FIRST. PILOT DID NOT SEE THE xND DEER BEFORE IT HIT THE A/C. NTSB INVESTIGATED. THIS FIELD WAS NOT ON APPROVED LIST FOR NIGHT SOLOS. |
