My Dad, Oscar Dale Shelley, took our family (Dale, June, Bob and Jeff Shelley)out to visit Jack Hansen at his home at the airport. I just wanted to let Jack know that my Dad, Dale, died last Christmas after a 2 year battle with lung cancer. I wasn't sure how to contact Jack since the last time my dad mentioned him he told that he thought Jack was in Mexico or South America.
My mother, June, died in 1987, my brother Jeff, in 2001 and Dad in 2010.
Tonight I took a chance and looked up the Hansen Airport. I found that it is still there and figured that either you are Ernest... aka Jack... or you know Jack and can pass on this information to him. I would appreciate it if you would. My Dad thought very highly of Jack and they were good friends. They worked at the Area together and at Lockheed Palmdale. Please let me know if you are related to Jack... if not I will have to try something else. Lockheed does not release information anymore.
