Remarks: FLT INSTR WAS DEMONSTRATING A SOFT FIELD T/O TO A STUDENT. SHORTLY AFTER A/C WAS AIRBORNE, x DEER-SIZED ANIMALS APPEARED ON RWY IN FRONT TO A/C. THE CFI ABRTD T/O & STEERED A/C TO RT TO AVOID THE ANIMALS. BRAKING ACTION WAS POOR ON THE ROUGH, MOIST RWY & A/C SLID & COLLIDED W/ AN OLD TIRE USED TO MARK THE SIDE OF THE TURF RWY. WHILE DEMONSTRATING A SOFT FIELD TKOF TO MY STUDENT, x DEER SIZED ANIMALS RAN ONTO RY. I ABORTED TKO AND DEVIATED R OF CNTRLINE TO AVOID COLLISION WITH APCHING ANIMAL. DUE TO RY CONDITION (WET) AND A/C SPEED, BRAKING ACTION WAS POOR AND DIRECTIONAL CONTROL DIFFICULT. TIRES BORDERING RY WERE NOT ALIGNED WELL AND HAD BLACK RATHER THAN WHITE SIDE UP AND WERE HARD TO SEE. I STRUCK ONE OF THE TIRES DURING MY ABORTED TKOF. TIRE DAMAGED UNDERSIDE (GEARBOX) AND R HORIZ STABILIZER.
