Remarks: SML SANDPIPER BIRD. ON xRD TOUCH AND GO. WINDSHLD WAS COVERED WITH A CLEAR MIST. MADE PREC LDG IMMED. INSPN FOUND SEVERAL FEATHERS IN ENG. NO DMG. I COLLECTED SAMPLES OF FEATHERS AND CALLED OPER WHERE A/C WAS RENTED TO INFORM THEM OF MY PLAN TO FLY BACK TO NEW BERN. LANDED W/O INCIDENT.
