Beringer Vineyards


Beringer Vineyards is located in St Helena, Napa Valley, California. The vineyard was established in 1876 and is known for the timeless appeal and seductive flavor of the valley. They focus on excellence and are committed to sustainable practices; they have a distinctive soil, climate and terrain.

The vineyard produces wine on several different vineyards. Bale Lane Vineyard is located in the warmer area of Napa Valley and produce fruits for Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon wines. Bancroft Ranch is at an elevation of 1,800 feet on Howell Mountain, the fruits from this vineyard produce intense Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.

Other Vineyards that are part of Beringer Vineyards include; Big Ranch Road which produces fruit for Chardonnay, Merlot and Pinot Noir. Cabot Vineyard produces superlative Cabernet Sauvignons. The first vineyard that attracted Jacob Beringer to the property is the St. Helena Home Vineyard and is part of the Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon wines.

The Winery is open daily apart from Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. There are several tours available for visitors to the winery; these include the Vintage Legacy Tour which tours the home vineyard, part of the original estate and finishes with a sit-down tasting in the Cellar Room of the 2 current-release wines. Taste of Beringer Tour explores the demonstration vineyard then a visit to the Old Stone Winery. Family tours are an historic tour through the original Stone Winery and aging tunnels.
