Fordyce Orchids

Fordyce Orchids is located at 1330 Isabel Livermore, California. It is a florist shop that works in Orchids and Orchid hybrids for the consumer. They grow miniature and high quality Cattleya hybrids and clones. The hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday 10am to 5pm, Sunday 1pm to 5pm. They are always closed on Mondays. There is a catalog, mail order options, and they do export their products.

Fordyce Orchids is part of the Orchid Ranch, which has three retail orchid companies all on five acres of land. They share a greenhouse compound selling Cattleyas, Phalaenopsis and Paphiopedilums.

The company is family owned and operated. They were very successful in providing orchids to their surrounding community for several years. The store offers plenty of tips on how to grow orchids as well as sell them. They go over the temperature, where they can be grown, and even the potting soil required to help consumers keep their plants healthy. Orchids are one of the harder to grow plants, but they are also quite beautiful when they bloom. The nursery offers consumers a chance to see these flowers grow and nurture them. Fordyce Orchids and the retail location have been around for more than two decades.
