Tours are led by Laurence, who after spemding time in Africa and California, and learning French cooking techniques, put together the forays to help friends and others who wanted the experience of market shopping. Laurence takes participants on guided tours of area farmer's and fishermen's markets and then leads them through cooking classes that utilize the ingredients that just purchased. It helps cooks prepare dishes using seasonal ingredients. Cooks also get the experience of pairing local wines with their food creations. Private forays are available for individual or groups and can be tailored to suit specific events like wedding showers, mother/daughter days or birthdays. Once the meal is complete, cooks gather around the table to enjoy their shopping and hard work.
