Mount Vision Road

Mount Vision Road is located in Point Reyes Station, California and is one of the most scenic drives visitors can go on. For those who wish an easy way to see the surrounding landscape of Point Reyes the road is the best method. Visitors will need to take Sir Francis Drake Highway to Mount Vision Road. The views are going to change with every curve on the 3 mile trip.

On Mount Vision Road the trek is very narrow and twisting, which is why visitors will find various views of California's landscape at their disposal for in ride photographs. There are a couple of areas to pull over and get out for photo opportunities, but the narrowness of the road does imply caution.

At the end of the road visitors can walk up Point Reyes Hill. This hill is where Inverness Ridge and Bucklin Trails add more opportunity to see the countryside. Visitors can take the loop hikes or short strolls along these trails. A plethora of vegetation, animal life, and birds can be seen on the hike and during the ride up. Families can go for the day or camp along the trails.
