The Orvis Sandanona Shooting Grounds is located at 3047 Sharon Turnpike in Millbrook, New York. The Orvis Sandanona Shooting Grounds is the oldest of the United States' permitted sporting clays and shotgun shooting clubs. The Orvis Sandanona Shooting Grounds was first started by Morgan Wing. He named the area Sandanona Pheasantry. "Sandanona'' is a Native American word that means "brilliant sunshine.''
