Punch Line

There are comedy clubs in most cities throughout the country and San Francisco is no exception. Punch Line, or Cobb's Comedy Club, offers entertainment in their 400 seat venue, as well as dining and drinking. The club is located in the North Beach neighborhood, right in the heart of the city's best nightlife destination. The club is best know for bringing in talent that is already world-renown or that goes on to bigger and brighter things following their performance. Previous acts have included Bill Bellamy, Tim Allen, Lewis Black, Bo Burnham, Dave Attell, Roseanne Barr, Frank Caliendo, Brett Butler, Greg Behrendt, Jim Breur, Jim Carrey, Margaret Cho, Jim Carrey, Kim Coles, Tommy Chong, Greg Proops, Rita Rudner, Paul Reiser, Sam Kinnison, Jamie Kennedy, Arie Spears, Robin Williams, David Spade, Sinbad and many, many more. In addition to great comedy, guests can enjoy dining in the club. The menu includes a variety of soups, sandwiches and entrees like New York steak served with prawns, grilled salmon and chicken Florentine. The club is available for special events and offers more than 8,000 square feet of space. There is room for up to 600 people and the club has hosted events such as meetings, fundraisers, corporate events, private parties, birthdays and wedding rehearsal dinners.
