Rosenthal Estate Winery Tasting Room

Rosenthal Estate Winery Tasting Room is located at Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California and is approximately 55 minutes drive from Los Angeles International Airport. The Tasting Room is open 1pm to 6pm Wednesday and Thursday, 11am to 6pm Friday to Sunday and is closed on Monday and Tuesday. Weekday hours are seasonal and therefore subject to change.

George Rosenthal started planting vineyards in 1987 on his 250-acre Malibu retreat, four miles inland and 1400 feet above the coastal fog. There are now 32-acres of vineyards at this site where a wide variety of wines are produced such as Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard estate is open for special events, weddings and private tours for groups of five or more by invitation only.

After sampling some of the produce at the tasting room, visitors can purchase bottles of Rosenthal wine. Adjacent to the tasting room is the Beau Rivage Restaurant, which offers a menu of Mediterranean style cuisine, while about half a mile away on the same road is another eatery called Malibu Seafood. For a different wine tasting experience visitors could go to Magic and Wine Tasting with David Minkin, which is also along Pacific Coast Highway.
