Rubidoux Drive-In

Rubidoux Drive-In Theatre is located at Opal Street in Riverside, California and is approximately an hour's drive from Los Angeles. This is one of the last classic drive-in movie theaters in Southern California and is recognisable by its original screen tower. The theater was opened in 1948 and has since been renovated to house three screens and 576 parking spaces, but still retains some of the post war style.

The drive-in has two showings of their movies every evening starting at 7.30 with an additional late night program on Fridays and Saturdays. Visitors can enjoy first run movies on any one of the three screens with FM sound located here. Traditional movie treats such as popcorn, candies and fizzy drinks can be purchased from the snack bar as well as a selection of Mexican snacks.

The drive-in is also home to a swap meet market, which is open from 6am to 2pm every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Visitors are requested not to bring alcoholic beverages, pets, bicycles, scooters or skateboards to the markets. For any visitors still feeling hungry after a show, there are a couple of pizza restaurants within about three miles of the drive-in.
