Skylinks Golf Course

Most recently renovated in 2004 with more than 70 sand bunkers added, the par-72 Cal Olson-designed Skylinks Golf Course is now widely considered to be the premiere golf course in Long Beach. Its 18 holes cover 6,909 yards from the championship tees, with four additional tee boxes playing from 5,376 to 6,560 yards. The fairways consist of rolling Bermuda grass, while the greens are Bent grass. The slope rating varies from a low of 110 for the Junior layout to 130 on the most challenging distance.

Facilities here include two newly constructed chipping greens, a driving range lit for night play seven days a week, two practice bunkers, and two putting greens. The fully stocked pro shop sells gift items as well as equipment and also has some refreshments available. A restaurant, a snack bar, and a bar & grill can be found on the premises, serving three meals a day

With a waterfall that can be used as a backdrop for weddings, Skylinks Golf Course can accommodate ceremonies and receptions for 200 to 500 guests. There is also the Skyroom meeting facility flanked by two patios, which can be used for small corporate events. The Skylinks Golf Course is located at 4800 East Wardlow Road, Long Beach, California 90808. Rental clubs are available for $20 to $40 per player, and pull carts are allowed.
