Up & Away Ballooning

Up & Away Ballooning is a hot air balloon company specializing in taking passengers on flights through Sonoma County in northern California. Up & Away focuses on passage safety and pilot training resulting in a perfect safety record for 17 straight years. They use the most advanced and up to date balloon equipment to mitigate potential safety hazards. They provide a unique champagne brunch after the one hour flight is over. The staff land at a location and serve the couple a romantic brunch including champagne, quiche, strawberries, and other hours devours.

The flights are approximately 60 minutes and vary from three to ten miles traveled depending on weather. the cost to reserve a flight is $235 per adult, $220 for seniors 60 and above, $220 for teens 13-18, and $195 for children 6-12. Children under 6 years of age are not allowed for safety reasons. Up & Away also have special packages for weddings and anniversaries.

Their pilots undergo thousands of hours of training and adhere to stringent Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines for passenger safety. Each balloon is inspected annually. Flights take place in the morning because of local weather conditions that are the best for hot air balloon flying.
