Van Buren Drive-In Theatre

The Van Buren Drive-In Theatre is a multiple screen drive-in theatre that is located at 3035 Van Buren Boulevard in Riverside, California. The theatre offers hit movies and new releases to the general public in a traditional drive-in type forum. There are three screens and the car capacity at the theatre is 1,500. The theatre opened its doors in 1964 and by 1975 converted to three screens which is how it operates today.

The theatre operates an onsite snack bar that serves more than just movie popcorn although popcorn is available. The snack bar serves churros, all flavors of soda, a large selection of candy and candy bars, and Mexican food. Special coupons are available online for printing and can be taken to the snack bar for discounts. Coupons such as one free small fountain drink with the purchase of a regular nachos or one free medium drink with the purchase of a large popcorn are available.

Every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday the area also operates a large swap meet with over 300 vendors on location. During the week admission is free and only 50 cents on the weekends. Free parking is available to visitors as are full concessions.
