Center Target in post falls....the yelp nasty little secret

So when I moved to the area about 3 years ago I got a 1 year family membership at this indoor gun range. Though you can use a shotgun or 223 it's still in door and warm meaning year round target practice and primarily focused on hand guns.

I'm quite sorry I paid almost 500 bucks as I only went 4 times before becoming fed up with the employees and the nanny state rules they run the range with.

3 of the 4 visits I was asked to move to another stall even though I was at...

Well Blacksheep sporting goods has really stepped up their game. I was there a week ago and they have a huge wall full of firearms.

We're not just talking hunting rifles and pump shotguns, I mean AR15's, Ak's, M1A's etc. their scope and ammo selection is nice to.

For a short time they had a silly 2 or 3 boxes of ammo per person limit but the "Obama effect" has calmed down and you can buy pretty much whatever you need.

Wholesale sporting goods is gone from CDA

Posted 07-07-2013 at 06:11 PM by DEADTIME

WSSG was bought out buy the original owners had sold it to a Canadian firm, I had hope this would mean a better assortment of rifles on the shelves but instead they have closed the store.

This is really unfortunate, the people who worked there were first rate and really friendly. The stock of rifles was a bit odd and leaned on the out of Africa 1970s bolt action hunting thing a bit to much.

There bow section was nice, though not as well stocked as Blacksheep.

Blacksheep has moved to old Wholesale sporting building

Blacksheep sporting goods has moved its operations to the old wholesale sporting goods building.

I was more impressed with Wholesale than Blacksheep but Wholesale was bought out and a few of its stores closed.

Hopefully this will mean more stock on hand at Blacksheep as they seem to never have anything I actually want.

Recently Blacksheep has had issues with personnel and understaffing. I went in to buy a bow and asked the gentleman ahead of me how long...

Coeur D Alene Gun Shops III

Posted 06-07-2013 at 04:22 AM by DEADTIME

Downtown guns/ Riverman gun works

Where to start, well they moved from downtown near Sherman to a shopping center on the 90 and a much bigger shop.

The employees seem nice enough but a certain attitude pervades the shop, I think radiating down from its owner.

Very little stock is on hand, some used and some new but at best maybe 30 firearms for sale. A smattering of hand guns, a few shotguns and a few tactical type rifles.

The prices are...
