It is November 27, 2014, which is Thanksgiving day in the United States! Colorado may see mild weather in the mountains and warmer temperatures in the plains, especially near Sterling, CO and Lamar, CO.

So when I was down in Amarillo, TX I came through the small town of Limon, CO. Not the nicest town on Colorado's Eastern Plains. Kinda reminds me of a Holyoke, CO. There are several gas stations and hotels. I guess maybe because the town is off Interstate 70.

Okay, so on Friday, November 21, 2014, I visited Woodland Park, CO. It is so beautiful there. Woodland Park is about 15 miles west of Colorado Springs, CO via US-24. It is a very clean town, but from what I've seen very expensive.

Okay, so in Loveland, CO the winds are 26 mph and in Amarillo, TX, the SECOND windiest city in the United States has 0 mph winds!!! I have been to Amarillo and I know what the weather is like and 95% of the time the wind is blowing there. In Loveland the wind blows about 40% of the time. For three days straight now Loveland has been experiencing winds blowing anywhere from 15 mph to 45 mph. Today, in Idaho Springs, CO, which is west of Denver, CO on Interstate 70 is getting very heavy snow. Temperatures are in the teens there today ranging from 14-19 degrees . Snow will fall all night in this small Colorado mountain town.
