I'm a proud black man. I think it is great that a person of color will probably be a president after all the prejudice my parents and grandparents endured in the Jim Crow South. I will not be voting for him however as i do not agree with him on most issues.

For the parents who raise their kids correctly without help from the government, for the addicts who have stayed clean, for the immigrants who came legally and speak fluent english, for the elected officals serving your public's interest first, for the drivers who follow the traffic laws 95% of the time, for the business who are honest, for the students who focus on their studies, for those who moved up in their careers the right way, for those who make honest money;

Whatever happened to personal responsibility and consequences? Apparently it was murdered in between the 1950's and today. Want proof?

I'm 20 years old. I feel like i'm coming to a major turning in my life. Some things I'm doing now are; defining my political values, trying to grow into a relationship with God, deciding where i'm going to (hopefully) finish college and preparing to move out on my own.

This point is, to me, this is the one place in my life so far where i can make a massive life-altering mistake. I can also make a choice that i can make one of the best choices i'll ever make.
