Camping In Jackson Hole, Wyoming

Posted 11-29-2008 at 06:28 PM by hsawyer
Some friends of mine and I are planning a camping trip next summer in Jackson Hole. However I've never been there, and I don't know where to go. We went camping in Montana two years ago and had a blast. Although we love tent camping, it's not exactly what we're looking for this time. We want the campfire, outdoor experience, but we'd like to find cabins to sleep in. I've gone to a few websites, but have been unsuccessful. Any suggestions on where to go would be helpful.

Is it **All** the Economy's Fault?

Posted 11-29-2008 at 06:08 PM by KarenRice (Wand'ring Through Northeast PA)
I was struck by a line in someone's blog post:

"More retailers and restaurants will be going out of business due to the strain of the economy."

I wonder if the "economy" isn't as much to blame as is the fact that many areas are OVERSATURATED with stores and restaurants.

I've seen several places go out of business that I never even set foot in - because I didn't need to.

I had no reason to go to Smokey Bones when there's...

Sometimes it feels as if....

Posted 11-29-2008 at 04:56 PM by angelican
Although sometimes it feels as if the good times should last forever,
they cannot.
But this doesn't mean that you are heading into troubled waters,
it's just that the high energy of the past few days mellows.
If you look carefully at what you have, though,
you'll realize that you do have love in your life,
even if fireworks aren't lighting up the sky.
Don't wait for something better to come along,
share your love with those currently in your life...

Being overweight

Posted 11-29-2008 at 03:25 PM by stillagirl
I have been overweight for the last 15 years of my life, but I don't ever remember not feeling fat. Normally I don't think about it and I can go through life feeling like I am generally well accepted in public and social situations but every once in awhile I am affronted by the hostility of someone who is so ignorant as to hate me for being fat and this kind of prejudice comes at all kinds of educational levels. I know it's not healthy or ideal, but honestly my fat is working for me right now...
