October 2009 Follow Up

The incredible amount of rain that fell in September only continued and intesified in October 2009. This month started out with cloudy and wet days for the first half of the month. By the second half of the month, we still had inches of rain but we are able to see some perfectly clear skies a few days. Because we had so many fast moving cold fronts through our area this month, October 2009 ended .8 degrees F cooler than normal, the first cool October since 2003. Moving to Houston soon

We may be moving to Houston within the year and we are trying to figure out the school situation. Ideally, we would like a school with excellent academics, a diverse student body, a wide variety of extra-curricular activities, and a robust gifted and talented program. My children currently attend an private independent school geared toward gifted & talented students and are active in a ton of activities inside and outside of school.

My kids have also had French every day since...

Hi everyone. First, I am new to this. I thought I sent one last night but I can't find any responses nor my request. Here goes again.
My brother has FINALLY obtained a job. He is relocating from G'boro, NC to Florida. His job is in Milton, Fla. (Industrial Blvd). I've searched for extended stay type hotels but have had limited luck. Please suggest nearby towns and possibly hotels he can reside in until he builds up enough monies for an appt. Mortgage Rates Hold in the Range and the Week Ahead

Last week ended on a strong note for mortgage backed securities. With the stock market moving considerably lower, market participants moved their cash into the fixed income sector bringing the benchmark 10 yr note back under 3.40% and helping MBS close at their best levels over the last couple weeks. All lenders did reprice for the better as the price gains held to close.
