Yippee! I can actually cross my leg today!

Posted 06-26-2009 at 03:45 PM by carlos123 (My Daily Life and Thoughts while in San Diego)
I have been treating my knee and leg like some piece of fine china. Afraid to use it lest it break on me...again.

Since I don't know what caused the problem in my leg where the knee and then the ankle swelled up on me like some kind of balloon accompanied by fever and pain....I am sitting here afraid to use my leg at all lest the same thing happen all over again.

So basically I have not been using my leg at all if I can help it. Afraid to move at times.

Ohio To Fort Worth

Posted 06-26-2009 at 12:36 PM by asweoh
My husband and I want to move to Fort Worth, but we don't really know how to go about it. I have some family there, but I don't want to ask them for help because they have a family of there own. Anyways we want to move as soon as we can, but I want to know how you go about getting a job there when you live out of state? I also want to know how to go about moving our stuff there? I know you can rent a truck and drive it there, but is that the best way to do it? So if anyone can offer me some advice...

A wake for the Ego

Posted 06-26-2009 at 12:39 AM by The Anchorite
A Wake for the Ego

I am awake,
whether the eyes
are open or closed.
Awake, in this one solitary moment,
blissfully awake.
There is nowhere to go,
nothing to do but be
here awake.
I stood behind you,
held you lovingly in my arms
as you died.
For so long it was not
what you wanted,
yet finally,
when you surrendered
it was beautiful,
like watching a butterfly on a rose petal.
