INTRODUCTION

Not much change this week at Fair Ridge. We did have 2 more TH come on the market this week. No sales in the past week but we do have 4 under contract.

After opening to the downside yesterday, mortgage backed securities fought back recapturing most of the early morning losses. Some lenders did reprice for the better as the improvements held through close. The volume was well below average indicating that the market is waiting for direction. Leading the way will be the stock market which will influence the treasury market which will lead the MBS market. So far this morning, stock market futures are pointing to a lower open, the benchmark 10 year...

This is going to be only the first of what may be many posts on this subject. I am not entirely certain that this blog is the place where I want to discuss this at length but for now...I will post here. If anyone reading this wants to discuss this in a more give and take, real discussion, by all means please PM me and we can arrange to do that.
