This is going to be only the first of what may be many posts on this subject. I am not entirely certain that this blog is the place where I want to discuss this at length but for now...I will post here. If anyone reading this wants to discuss this in a more give and take, real discussion, by all means please PM me and we can arrange to do that.

my trip to yun nan

yun nan province is the most beautiful place in china besides tibet. so many minority groups exist in the same town, different culture, different literature and different tourists from all over the world here.its easy to find a coffee shop in an old village, and order a piece of brownie, milk shake, spend all day there.
the clouds are so low as u can touch it. riding a horse , dancing at the square of the old town are all amazing experience.
shu he is my favourate old village. compared...

Studying Abroad USA v/s UK v/s Australia

Hi...All, I am Snehal from India, me @ 36, had to discontinue my advanced studies in early 20s for the sake of supporting family. Now, am well set in business here, but want to persue an International Masters - may be in business.

Self financed, with family ( wife + two young pre-schoolers), I am finding it difficult to decide where to resume my studies.

I have searched extensively on internet for options in USA - UK & Australia. All look good with some or other...

The Week Ahead

Last week was roller coaster for mortgage backed securities. After a nice rally on Tuesday and Wednesday which brought the par 30 year fixed rate mortgage back under 5%, by Friday MBS ended up where the week began. We have seen a consistent pattern develop lately where each time rates break the 5% barrier, they only remain there for a short period of time before sentiment shifts to drive mortgage rates higher. Driving this movement is the see sawing of investor sentiment from the green shoots theory...

I am just flat out of touch, but it was the plan and so I guess I have no complaints.

Decades ago, dissatisfied with the world's circumstances (trashed environment, racial biases, collective myopia), I took the Bible's suggestion to "...no longer will I look on mankind, or be with those who now dwell in this world." Isaiah 38:11

Well, it didn't work. Oh, I separated my thoughts from the world's preoccupations, but like the nosey neighbor, I couldn't stop myself...
