17 weeks after tibia/ fibula surgery...

Posted 04-02-2012 at 07:56 PM by mikey0886 (17 weeks after tibia/ fibula surgery..)

Im 25 year old female..on Dec 2 2011 my life came to a stop all due to these 5 inch wedges. I thought i had just sprained it so i waited all weekend (it was a very painful weekend) before going to the doctors. Turns out i had broken both my tibia and fibula and had surgery that week...i am now half terminator with 2 plates and 20 screws! All because of these really cute shoes...i hate when people ask me how i broke it, im a bad liar so trying to make up something more exciting then tripping on heels...

Early Morning In The Woods

Posted 04-02-2012 at 05:57 AM by susieJD

Good Morning!

Still dark here in the woods and the night critters are going back into hiding for the day. The turkeys are gobbling and making a fuss on the roof (where they spent the night), the dogs are howling and the deer are going into the forest.

Looks a lot like rain today. That's OK, we can use it here. If our woods get too dry, it's a worry about fire.
