When I became an explorer I got interested in law enforcement.
I wanted to learn how to become a cop so that I could be that power, that force that steps in when something is going on and says this isn't ok and that I help the people in need and make them feel safe again.

After issues with my mom and a recent issue with the police I have lost all faith in law enforcement. I cannot bring myself to work with people who have become so calloused and stoic from years on the job,...

As spring continues its unpredictable journey in my life, the effects I deal with are sometimes not the greatest for this Texas gizzard. Love the warmer weather and the sunshine, but I also love thunderstorms (as long as I'm not at work and parked in protection from potential hail). I could probably do without the grass spore counts being as high as they are, as I've been the loudest sneezer I know, both at my abode and my workplace. Those a-choos can be heard all the way in Louisiana....

Aging, growing fatter (it seems) by the day, locked in with failing health, out of work -- hmmm, why would I not want to remain HERE?

Then I recall all that is right in my world, and how so many others have it so worse.
