Posted 07-20-2012 at 08:17 PM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

There is a saying in Texas where if you don't like the weather, then wait a few minutes. And summer in Texas usually lends itself to only one thing: hot heat. Occasionally, though, you might encounter an event like the one I experienced.

This had to have been a last-minute forecast change, since no rain had even been predicted for my area outside of a wafer-thin chance. Clouds darkened up over the 102-degree parking lot at my apartment complex when the skies...

Brain Dead -- Time to Not Study! 8|

Posted 07-20-2012 at 03:40 PM by LookinForMayberry

I wanted to finish my Cost Accounting homework today, so I could work on the Income Tax over the weekend. I've got two problems left to do -- huge problems. I got them set up in Excel -- and bonked. I cannot put one more number into one more record. I am kaput.

DH just brought Bigun home from the school where he threw the ball for him for over thirty minutes. It's rained all day, so that's going to be his exercise. I am curling up with my fantasy novel and retiring from the world...
